Week 2 of the New Website
Greetings from springtime in the Rockies. Our bulbs are pushing through even though its still very cold. My science project of a yard and garden brings a lot of anticipation. I am happy to say that this urban girl is adapting to mountain life and learning about gardening the old fashion way. By asking for advice, doing it my way, and watching the results. Our Himalayan poppies & Irises survived the transplanting last fall, though I am not so sure about the roses.
What does this have to do with creativity you may ask… well for me it is so out of my comfort zone to dig something up, move it and wait six months to see if it survived let alone flourishes. The mess, the lag time in knowing whether it worked translates immediately to my work as a radio producer, actor and musician. It helps me understand that there is a lot more at work in the creative process than meets the eye. It reminds me that letting go of the outcome allows the Mystery to work.
We hope you will check in often and add your thoughts about creativity, how it works in your life and help build this amazing community of like minded folks.
